A Little Bit About Me
I am the founder and practitioner of Sole Street Play. I am qualified, experienced and passionate in what I do!
Before I started my journey as a Play Therapist, I was a Montessori teacher for ten years. Here is where I gained my first insight into the importance of play and how it is one of the best ways to connect and support a child. As a practicing Play Therapist since 2015, my philosophy and message when working with children is “support the present to heal for the future."
I am a member of PTUK (Play Therapy UK) and work within their ethical framework. I am on the Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA)*.
I regularly attend clinical supervision to ensure the highest standard of professional practice and undertake regular professional development, expanding and broadening my knowledge and skill base.
It is an absolute honour to be able to provide children with the freedom to explore and be themselves. It has been one of the most rewarding roles I have experienced in my career and I look forward to continuing to provide these opportunities for the future generation.

*The Register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists programme was set up by the PSA to improve standards and safety for the benefit of the public in general and in our case, the children in particular.
